European Business Reads: Digital Marketing Survey, AI Capital of Europe, and Women in Digital Switzerland

We’re starting off July strong with insightful articles about AI research commissioned by the Mayor of London, the results of the 2018 Digital Marketing survey results, and Women in Digital Switzerland.

London named Artificial Intelligence capital of Europe

“London is the AI capital of Europe”. That is the key finding of a major piece of research commissioned by the Mayor of London, Sadiq Khan. For the first time, one piece of research maps London’s AI ecosystem highlighting its strength, complexity, and its growing importance to the economy. According to the research, this new capital is home to double the number of AI companies than Paris and Berlin combined.

2018 European Digital Marketing Survey Results

The outcomes from the 2018 European Digital Marketing Survey performed by SALESmanago have been released. This survey was conducted in May 2018 and included nearly 350 marketers from the European countries (specialists, marketing automation users, CEOs, CMOs, and influencers) and covers a variety of sectors such as B2C, retail, software, training, and coaching, finance and banking. The full report from the survey is available here.

2018 Annual Conference – Women In Digital Switzerland

Disclosure! This is a shameless and positively biased promotion of one of my favorite local communities, Women in Digital Switzerland (WDS).

As co-founder of WDS, I am extremely proud of our organization’s all-volunteer team and community mojo in pulling off another star-studded and stellar event showcasing some of Switzerland’s top female talent shaping the digital landscape.

Women in Digital Switzerland’s second annual conference this past May focused on The Future of Digital Transformation and explored the growing importance of the intersection of technology and the human side in business in reaching success.

With a stellar line-up of guest speakers from Google, Microsoft, Nestlé, RicoLab, We Are Tech, and Futurae, and support from The University of Geneva’s Continuing Education Program (HES), we were able to offer a full day program for the price of 30 CHF per person. (I dare you to beat that price!)

If you weren’t able to join us in person, you can check out our Youtube channel for all of the sessions, as well as 2017 speakers.

If you live in Switzerland join our community of more than 2000 digital and tech women who come together to share, learn and inspire at one of our free,  in-person monthly meetups.

Shameless plug over!
